Penn State provides researchers and faculty with a variety of services and tools to aid their research.
The Office of the Senior Vice President for Research has established a catalog of all technologies, platforms, and services available at Penn State in the areas of Research Computing, Research Cyberinfrastructure, and Research Data in an online database. The Penn State Research Services Catalog is designed to help faculty and staff find data, cyber, programming, and IT resources available to researchers at Penn State. The site covers broad categories that include, but are not limited to, data storage, cloud computing, networking, research instrumentation software, and more.
This resource represents the superset of technical services available from Enterprise IT, the Institute for CyberScience, Research Administration, the Office of Information Security, the University Libraries, the Office of Research Information Systems, and the OSVPR research institutes. The website is the result of more than three years of cooperative effort by the RCCI, the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research, and many others.
