Jason Zurawski of ESNet has let us know that the Globus folks are doing a world tour to promote the move from older data transfer tools (such as ftp and rsync) to newer tools such as Globus.
As of the date of this posting, the nearest workshop to Penn State is at Yale, October 12-13. Another workshop is planned for DC, with date TBD.
